Homebuilder financial incentives

Homebuilders who participate in the Entergy Solutions High-Performance Homes Program can enjoy generous financial incentives based on the energy savings of the homes they construct.

Entergy Texas will offer incentives to homebuilders who deliver homes that meet current Program guidelines. The incentives allocated to each homebuilder is determined by the overall program budget, homebuilders’ anticipated volume, and the number of participating homebuilders.

There are three separate pathways to earn incentives in the program. Homes that meet the requirements of more than one Pathway will earn incentives associated with the highest tier.

Pathway 1: kWh Savings over Reference Home. The calculated difference between the as-built home and the program’s reference home as determined by approved energy modeling software.

Pathway 2: % kWh Savings over Reference Home. The calculated percent savings of the as-built home compared to the program’s reference home as determined by approved energy modeling software.

Pathway 3: Prescriptive. Meet the minimum efficiency standard by using the prescribed measures to guarantee a minimum Tier 1 or Tier 2 incentive.
